British Summer Time 2018 Hyde Park

One of London’s most exciting festivals will be taking place this July 2018 in Hyde Park. Held over two weekends, the highly anticipated, annual British Summer Time festival will kick-off on 6 th July running on consecutive weekends until the 15th July. Don’t miss out on big-name acts who will be taking to the stage on what is known as “the concert of the summer”. An event that is perfect for attendees of all ages, this is not one to miss out on.

Who’s On?

This year’s line-up is bigger and better than ever with musical royalty headlining the festival.

Roger Waters

The Pink Floyd bassist will be hitting this stage this year and people are already buzzing. Waters will be playing a selection of Pink Floyd hits from celebrated albums such as ‘The Wall’ and ‘Dark Side of the Moon’. Waters will be accompanied by Richard Ashcroft, Seasick Steve, Squeeze and more!

Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton and his talents return to BST to wow crowds once again. Clapton captivates his audience from the moment he picks up his guitar and this year he will be doing it again with all-time hits such as ‘Tears in Heaven’, ‘Wonderful Tonight’ and ‘Layla’. Clapton will be joined by friends Santana, Steve Winwood, Gary Clark Jr and more.

The Cure

Celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, The Cure will be gracing fans with their presence and talents as they rock the stage in Hyde Park this July. Rock out to mega-hits including ‘The Love Cats’ and ‘Just Like Heaven’. Along with the cure will be Interpol, Goldfrapp, Editors to name a few.

Other headliners to attend British Summer Time 2018 include Michael Buble, Van Morrison, Bananarama and the feeling. To keep things fresh, Bruna Mars will be making an appearance along with Khalid, DNCE and Charlie Wilson.

Music legend, Paul Simon will also perform with James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt and many more.

Open House

Although tickets to the festival must be purchased, Open House is a free event that runs from 9th-12th July. Enjoy themed movie nights, food stalls, pop up bars, live music, circus performances, bingo, theatre, the Royal Parks Showcase and more.

If you’re coming from out of town to attend the festival, be sure to take some time to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Kensington.
